New desk, new outlook

Today I moved into a new desk and office at work. I'm pumped to be in a quieter environment. I was in the adminstrators office, which never STOPPED moving with people. I am thankful for a slower paced office.

In two weeks I am heading home for a visit with my family and friends. Actually my fam is getting together for a week long reunion at my parent's place. Looking forward to this. I get to meet my nephew, eat my fabulous mom's cooking, rest, relax out at the lake, joke around with my brother, go jogging in reasonable temperatures, go to church, see my friends, go shopping, communicate with ease... ahhhh..... So it should be a great time.

Tonight I headed out to my friend Sherilyn's house. Her family built a house near the beach. She made dinner and we ate outside on the balcony and then after we watched the stars, shooting stars (I was unsuccessful), and the international flights path. Well, the air was fresh, food was delicious, and the time was great. Hmmm... a great evening....

Sharon and Me in Pung-Hu

I went to Peng-Hu last week with my friend Sharon (Shao-Lan) from July 4-6th. We visited islands, beaches, museums, ate seafood, and sweltered out in the heat. I think the temps were in the high 30s. We had fun!! Thanks Sharon for a great trip!! Posted by Picasa

There are fishing boats sitting all over the beaches. Posted by Picasa

Strange Rock Formations

These rock formations are quite strange, they are of molden lava hardened into these piles of layed rocks, thousands of columns. This is taken on an island off of Peng- Hu. Posted by Picasa

Me and my Roomie

Me and Rebecca are dancing up a storm at her friends' wedding. It was fun to get her out on the dance floor and boggie. Posted by Picasa

Evelyn and Vincent

This couple took me out for this great variation of milk tea. I guess the point of drinking it is to get the biggest milk mustache possible. They beat me. They are getting married in the middle of July and invited me to be in the wedding. How cool! Posted by Picasa

D-elicious

This is my full glass of milk green tea. But it is a little different from the ordinary. This resturant (famous as I am told) puts real whipped cream on the top. It was super! Posted by Picasa

Baptism

The School Year is Ending...

The students that run around the school and city in this bright red t-shirt are my students (gr.7 students). But now they are my old students. I taught them for one whole school year. My new students (coming in mid July) will be wearing a bright blue t-shirt. I guess it is time for a change. Posted by Picasa
